Overview

As a Budtender at 50 Shades of Green, you are a friendly and professional presence. You will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting and purchasing cannabis products tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities will include providing detailed information about various strains, consumption methods, and product varieties, ensuring customers make informed decisions. Additionally, you will maintain a clean, organized store environment and uphold all brand standards.

Role Objectives

• Ensure each guest feels comfortable by welcoming them to 50 Shades of Green
• Being a positive representation of the 50 Shades of Green brand
• Keep an advanced understanding of all products and cannabinoids to dispense CBD and cannabis products that are tailored to each individual guest and their experience levels
• Take time to educate guests on the varieties of cannabinoids, cannabis and cannabis-infused products
• Actively listen to each guest to provide the highest possible level of service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well merchandised store environment

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to 50 Shades of Green and guide them in choosing suitable products.
• Educate customers on different cannabis strains, effects, and consumption techniques.
• Address customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and potency.
• Be available for 35+ hours of work or 5-6 shifts a week.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing cannabis sales.
• Keep the dispensary premises tidy and presentable, including display areas and storage spaces.
• Assist with promotional activities, events, and marketing campaigns as required.
• Stay updated on cannabis products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Assist as needed in inventory receiving, management, labeling, packaging, and re-stocking.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any customer issues promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with fellow co-workers and management.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma, College preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience; cannabis industry experience is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail in cash handling and inventory management.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer proficiency to troubleshoot minor issues
• Minimum age of 19 and successful completion of background checks.
